We wish to further strengthen the governance of
our charity by recruiting new Directors for our
Management Committee. We are seeking positive
individuals who can contribute and bring
appropriate skills to our Management Committee.
We are particularly interested to recruit people
with a background and expertise in dementia. We
are keen to achieve a greater diversity of
representation on our management committee and as
such would welcome interest from BME (black and
minority ethnics). The Directors posts are non-
remunerated, although travel expenses are paid.
Directors will be given induction and are
required to attend a number of Committee meetings
during the year. The reward for you will be that
your skills and experience will steer a charity
into ensuring that the planning and delivery of
services are effective within a tight funding
climate.
