Glasgow Association for Mental Health is an
independent organisation and is established as
one of the principal providers of mental health
services in Greater Glasgow. They are looking for
volunteer Befrienders to assist people break
through any issues they have. The service aims to
raise the self confidence and self esteem of
people who are socially isolated by encouraging
support through befriending. You will be working
with people from all walks of life of any gender
or age. You will also be able to choose hours of
work and expenses will be paid. Full and relevant
training will be given through the volunteer
induction programme.
