Play Program Worker Ref: 279

Hours: 20 per week PERMANENT
To organise, plan and supervise play activities
for children 5-13yrs to enable children to
experiment and learn about themselves and the
world around them. To encourage and arrange team
games, sports, drama, music and other
entertainments, as well as art and craft
activities, and in some cases taking children on
day trips and outings.
To supervise the children at all times, and make
sure that safety procedures are followed
conforming to the projects Child Protection and
Health & Safety policies, whilst encouraging good
behavior and dealing with challenging behavior
through appropriate procedures. To give support
to the other PEEK programs and attend any team
meetings as requested.
To monitor and evaluate the project on an ongoing
basis by keeping accurate records inc-
participant consents, session registers, session
evaluations and series evaluations inc- case
studies. To undertake training as requested
20 hours per week Usually- Monday 5-9pm, Tuesday
5-9pm, Wednesday 2.30-4.30pm, Thursday 5-9pm,
Friday 1.30-3.30pm, Sunday 5-9pm
Salary: £10,340
